I achieved some of my goals by, putting my photos of the lemon mug cake on to my laptop. I also edited my video I took of Paige, doing the cornrow braids. I made the video fast forwarded because the video is about 4 minutes long and I only want it to be around 1 minute because, if I have it any longer they might lose interest. It was also my very first time doing the cornrows Mexican braids. I also wrote out the recipe I used to make the Lemon Mug cake, Which I will be uploading on my website soon, probably tomorrow it will be completely uploaded, and I will have the picture on the blog as well. Something that didn't really go that well was, when I tried to send my pictures from my IPad on to my laptop, it took much longer than I thought. Next time I think instead of using Gmail to send the photos to my laptop, I am going to use Edmodo backpack, because lots of people have told me it is much faster to achieve the pictures of files. I have a good feeling where this project is going. Tomorrow I have some pretty exciting stuff I will be doing!
I achieved some of my goals by braiding Paiges hair while filming a tutorial. To achieve this I put my IPad
I achieved some of my goals so far by, writing my list of D.I.Y's that I think will be useful or fun to make towards our class. I also achieved a goal by looking at facts about Flubber and making the tutorial for "How to make Flubber" with 2 different ways of making it with 2 different main ingredients, so that way I make sure everyone can make it at home. There was a couple of things that went well during this process, one of them was making the second 'type' of Flubber with the liquid detergent, and another thing that went well was my D.I.Y to do list. One thing that didn't really go well was my tutorial, after recording it I realized a clip didn't get recorded so I had to re-do the whole video. Now I finished the whole video I had to re-record and I now need to edit it and upload. Also another thing that did not go well is, I cannot do more than 6 D.I.Y's because I only have 1 more week to finnish my project and it takes around 3 days to do all the research for that one D.I.Y, to make everything it needs to have to be on my blog, making the tutorial, editing the tutorial, printing out the ingredients and the pictures for the scrap book and experimenting.
Did I achieve my goal?
Yes, I achieved my goal by making one of my D.I.Y's (Flubber) correctly and recording everything I did, on paper. I also asked some people who have seen, and felt my Flubber, if they can rate my Flubber out of 5 stars. Majority starts were 5! What went well: My notes and making Flubber, (writing down the materials I used and measurements) also, all my measurements were correct even though I didn't even look online for the measurements, I just winged it because I have made it so many times! What didn't go well: I did not put enough glue in the first batter, so it wasn't (as) flexible as it should have been. I also did not bring my own food colouring which I have brought today. What I think I am going to do next time is, bring everything in advance just in case I need it, and layout everything I need so I don't misplace anything. I am going to bring my iPad so I can record step by step of how to make Flubber and I am also going to make sure that I bring my food colouring because I have a 4 colours to make more colour with blue, green, red, and yellow! Next time I am going to also try to bring accessories for a request by a class mate for my project. One student has asked me if I can do a really cool D.I.Y for them to spice up their notebook! Which I am so excited for. (Reflection is: 264 words and 1306 characters) 1. What is your project?
My project is about juggling a soccer ball and how to do it. 2. Why did you choose it? Well, I chose this topic because my hole soccer team can juggle with soccer ball but, I can't. 3. What will your final project look like? My final project will show you step by step how I got better and better at juggling, then I will tell you some really cool interesting facts on people/players who learned how to juggle. 4. How will I learn? I will learn more about the punting with your foot and the positions you need the ball at, to be able to juggle. Also, I will watch some videos on YouTube of how to juggle with a soccer ball, and I kindly asked Paige if I could use her ball net to help me practice (a ball net is a net that goes on top of the ball to hold it, and you can kick the ball while it is attached to the net and it won't go far, great for juggling!) What do you need to start Thursday? All I will need is • a soccer ball • soccer ball net • a recording device (my phone) • laptop • iMovie • my website Why is this project important to you? This project is important to me because I feel that once I get passed the step of "juggling with a soccer ball", I can do a lot more things, for an example, doing the rainbow! My passion is Soccer, and I want to be a professional Soccer player! Something that bugs me is that I can't juggle, I try and I practice, but I still just cannot roll the ball up on my foot and keep it up in the air. I want to built a net to hold the soccer ball, so I could just keep kicking it in the air. I am going to make the net out of my mini soccer net I used to have in my backyard, or I will just get one and keep you guys up to date with a slideshow, of how far I have gotten, and where I started! :)
